Volunteering at the Special Needs Horse Show is one of our  favorite things to do!
The Joy We feel after spending a day with this group of people is Amazing! The Joy is unconditional!  We receive far more Joy than we deserve!

This pictures makes us feel JOY!  A father and daughter watching  a football game while waiting for treatment.
Joy comes from Receiving a text from Teri saying Papa is feeling better and he is able to eat food again and he is gaining weight!

Ice cream with a stranger!

After being on a cruise you kind of go through food with drawls Ha Ha!
The other night we were finished with dinner and Mike said let's go get an ice cream cone.  You don't have to ask me twice!  We drive to dairy queen and order our soft serve ice cream cone and go outside to sit at one of the picnic tables when around the corner this older gentlemen appears with a troubled look on his face!  He does not speak English is waving his hands gesturing that he is lost but again in a strange accent and not in English.  He shows Mike a piece of paper with an address and phone number on it with the name Shirley on the paper.  So Mike calls the number and tells the person on the phone that this man seems to be lost.  Very appreciative his daughter tells us they will be right there. Without really having to use words we offer him a ice cream cone. It was cute to see his face change from confused to safe and happy. There were No words spoken just sharing an ice cream cone with a stranger!

First Day of School at Sea Life! 2015

Hannah and I went to Sea Life on our first day of school!  She took a class about plankton and then we were able to go into the aquarium. It was very fun! She is studying Marine Biology this year for science.  It was a great way to start off the year.  We watched them feed the sharks and manta rays.  Loved it!  This place is small but it is interesting and therapeutic!  I love to just sit and watch the fish.  I could do it for hours.  Ahhh! Under the sea! Catch a wave 7th grade should be Fun!

Emily + Kylee + Hannah = Sisterhood

Emily Martin is a very special friend to both Kylee and Hannah.  Hannah has known Emily since she was 3 months old.  Kylee met Emily through playing on sports teams together.  They played volleyball and basketball together for many years.  They continue to share a friendship with a special sisterhood.  Emily just graduated from Penrose Academy a health and beauty school specializing in skin care. Way to go Emily!

Celebrate America!

We had a Fabulous July 4th!  Spent time with family! Went to Phoenix First Assembly for their fireworks display.  Sat on the lawn and watched the fireworks above our heads.  We almost needed ear plugs we were so close. The night was so nice.  It cooled down some so we could enjoy the show.  We grilled hot dogs and ate traditional flag strawberry shortcake. Also attended their Celebrate America service which honored the service men and women.  We Sang patriotic songs and Gave praise to our Lord!
God Bless America!
