The whole family has been sick ! We all had to go to the Doctor's and get an antibiotic. Bad sore throats and coughs. It has been rough... but,God is good! I am thankful and merry because I have a roof over my head. I am thankful and merry because my husband has a job that provides health insurance. I am thankful and merry for my family. We have had to slow down and take time to get well. It has brought us together. Put a log in the fire place and watch movies together and eat chicken soup. Ahhh.. A merry heart is good medicine! Thank you Lord for healing our family!

Penguin Pete

Hannah's Poem this week was about Penguins. We read Penguin Pete by Marcus Pfister too.

We took a potato and printed black & white paint for the tuxedo look. Added orange foam art beak and feet. Google eyes for the finishing touch on a foil ice burg.

Mike had a great week... He watched the Forty Niners beat the Saints! Fantastic GAME!!

Goooooo Niners! and He turned the Big "50". Whew the excitement! I love you, Honey!

Kid's Chef Cooking Class = Fun!

We made Snowman cupcakes this week for cooking class... Fun! My class this semester consists of 10 students ranging from 4 - 11 years old. They have creative hands and special hearts.

Tinkerbelle

Hannah was scared at first to hold her without gloves but, they have learned to get used to each other! She is so sweet!

Tinkerbelle is our newest addition to the family..She is so cute! She is a fancy Russian dwarf hamster. Hannah had received a gift card to Petsmart from Mitch and with her allowance money that she saved she was able to buy her first hamster. Murphy likes her too!

Bike riding..playing at the park..Hiking..No snow here so we made a snowman indoors for fun!
