We will miss Millie the Magnificent

 

We woke up and Millie had died in her sleep last night.  We had been treating an eye infection and we think her immune system was too weak.  Sadly she did not survive.  Hannah is very sad! We will miss our sweet Millie.  We buried her in the backyard with all our other special animal friends.  I heard Hannah talking to Millie and she told her she was going to be happy in guinea pig heaven.  It broke my heart! 

A Thankful Heart!

I am so Thankful for my friends The Headley's!  I have been so bummed that my blog was not working for over 7 months now.  It has been a blessing to me and I loved being able to share a little of my family life to family and friends. When it stopped working I did not know what to do. You really know who your friends are when you can ask for a favor and they are willing to jump right in and help with out any hesitation.  Pam and Kirk are like that!  They blessed me with this blog and have been a blessing in my life for 14 years.  Thanks for your friendship and helping me with this.  I love you guys! Sisters are special!

November 2013

Granny Nanny and Grandpa Paul came to visit for Thanksgiving.  We played dominoes every night and Hannah and Granny Nanny beat the pants off of us. It is always special to spend time together. I am always thankful for my parents making the effort to come and visit.  It means the world to us!

Cheerio! English Riding

Hannah is Riding English this year.  It has been a challenge.  Learning a new discipline is great for the horse and for the rider.  Showmanship, patterns and jumping are all part of the routine.  We are proud of her for trying new things.  It is not her favorite but, she is learning to find her seat and sit proper on the horse.  Ha Ha.  I think she looks pretty darn cute In her English attire.

Aaron has a gift to make you laugh! A wonderful sense of humor. I love that he makes us smile and does not take life to serious. Thanks Aaron for 21 years of laughter!

First Day of School August 2013

We are attending a co-op on Thursdays! I teach edible Art Classes and craft classes.  Hannah is taking a book club class, writing class, art class and helps in the snack bar. The church that we meet at is beautiful.  The campus has a gym and assorted play equipment and wonderful classrooms.  God is good!  We have made some wonderful new friends and are enjoying this weekly activity.

I also am teaching a cooking class at my house with six talented young girls.

Kylee's Birthday "July 29"

Kylee's 24th Birthday! Wait a minute the candles say "42" in the picture.  Thanks to Aaron he kept messing with them and switching them around. Kylee and Leo are now living in their own apartment about 15 minutes away.  We miss them!  Leo comes to visit regularly and he swaggers into the house like he owns the place.  Murphy is always happy to see him.    

Pug Cupcakes

I have a friend Tammy who owns five pugs.  She invited Hannah and I over for lunch to meet her new grandson and we brought her these adorable pug cupcakes.  They tasted really yummy too!

Bird Buddies

 This summer we had fun watching The Hawk's parakeet Sunny.  Sunny the green parakeet is now Joey's best friend.  He loves her.  They spent two weeks together and Hannah loved every minute of it!

 

Independance Day!

Happy 4th of July! We had a great day! It is always fun to spend time together! We love Root beer Floats and Bbq salmon Burgers. Yummy! We made these festive coasters for our drinks. God Bless the USA!
