Mom & Dad's Visit
WE had a great time with my parents at Thanksgiving. WE celebrated my mom's 80th birthday and my dad's 84th. Had a magical Fairy breakfast for my mom with dragonfly lighted table and fairy centerpiece. Fresh berries and a fairy pie! She was whisked off to an outing of bowling and Fatso's pizza for early dinner. She amazes me at her athletic form at the bowling alley. We took dad to a wonderful Christmas play at the local church. Spectacular animals were part of the show. Zebras, Elephants, tigers, camels and more. Oh My!! We had a salmon lunch and Triple chocolate cake for dessert. Fun! Fun! Fun!

Our Girls!!
Miss Dandylion
Miss Blossom
Hannah is learning first hand how to raise Chickens. WE were blessed with a chicken coop from our friends the Hawk family and thought we would give it a try. Looking forward to it. The girls are very sweet. We got them when they were 3 days old as chicks. Now they are living in the coop on the side of the house. Murphy is a little confused as to what his role is. But I think he will learn that they are part of the family. They are so fun to have around. We started out with three. We had a black silkie but we are not sure what happened to her. It was sad to see her missing. Hannah may show at the county fair. She would have to leave them down at the fair grounds and I think she has a hard time with that. We can't wait to have fresh eggs. Yipee!
Arizona State University Grad!!!
Mitch Graduated from ASU. We are very proud of him. He achieved his BA in Health and Wellness. He has a successful business helping people as a physical trainer. He is also helping people with their meal planning and health tips online
it is called "Mind Set Fitness".
Great Job Mitch!!

Lemons? Who needs Lemons?
We planted a lemon tree in the front yard last spring and have been patiently waiting for lemons. We never imagined we would get caterpillars instead. They are so ugly they are cute. I love how when you press on their bodies they "POP" out orange antennae's.
We have at least 8 on the tree. About 3 weeks ago we saw two beautiful swallowtail butterflies in our backyard floating around. Who knew we would have babies. I love
front yard science! I can't wait for the chrysalis'. I can't wait for the butterflies!

Halloween 2014
Granny Nanny with her crow puppet "Fig-Noodle". I love how she shares her puppets with the senior center and convalescent hospitals. Peyton and Aaron go to chipotle every year to get their $3 burrito in costume. Cowboy and Angel Ha Ha!
Hannah passed out candy and enjoyed family time with fire pit and smores.
She was a nerd!

Shark Bite Ice Cream Sandwiches
Edible Art class started back up this week! We made Shark Bite Ice cream sandwiches. (Saw the idea on Edible Crafts) Oooh! They were good. We also were inspired by a Godly women named Bethany Hamilton who survived a shark attack and lost her arm. She trusted God and learned to surf again! Wow! She is amazing!
Santa Cruz , California
Dad, Roxann (Babe's Girlfriend), Mom & me
Hannah standing under the sign made from redwood trees
What a beautiful day! 75 degrees..in Santa Cruz mountains. This place is bizarre. There is a spot on the hill where nothing makes sense. It registers that everything is level and where things look like they should be normal but it is not. All I know is it was fun! We hiked up a hill to see weird things occur . All the trees are female growing in this area. People look taller or shorter depending on where they stand.
A strange feeling affects your equal Librium. Then we ate a picnic lunch and went to the beach. Ahh! We rode the Big Dipper roller coaster at the boardwalk. My mom was a chip of the old block riding the coaster with her grand daughter. She said that is the last time she will ride it. What a Rush!! I love that roller coaster!
I love this statue. It's called Bear and her cubs.
WE had a real nice time visiting my parents. It was great to get away for a few days.

Look who's in 6th Grade!
Hannah's first day of School. She is starting 6th grade. I surprised her with a back to school breakfast. Egg cupcakes with cheese and peppers. Fresh fruit with fresh whip cream. We are studying Geography this year. I found some fun flag stickers and a giant USA map from the dollar store and gave it to her. We also found a exciting Vet and animal care curriculum that we are going to dive into this year. 2014 - 2015 is going to be fun. Welcome Back!
Kylee is 25 !!
We celebrated Kylee's Birthday with a Cupcake Café. It was fun. Hannah and I turned the house into a café with menus and cupcake decorations all around the house. Hannah was the hostess/server and took our family's orders and I was the chef.
We served Smoked Salmon Pasta with fresh garden salad. Whole grain Garlic Bread
and steamed Asparagus. For dessert we had vanilla bean cupcakes and/or cinnamon rolls. It was special to have Gramma and Uncle Babe join us. We cant believe Kylee is 25 years old! Where has the time gone?

A New Journey!
Moving Day for Uncle Babe and Gramma Clysta! Wow...this is spectacular!
We were focused moving boxes out of the moving truck and we looked up at the sky and God gave us a beautiful reminder. He is with us every step of the way.
A new Journey has begun for Donnie and Clysta. Donnie sold his home in California and they moved to Phoenix. I am excited to have family in town. I am excited to see God work.
They had some hurdles to jump over to get here. Babe and Gramma, Miss Roxann & Teri arrived at our house at 4am on Monday morning. After having Babe's truck towed 100 miles out of Phoenix. They were tired!
Life is about to get Toasty!

New Kid on the Block!
Took t-shirts and made little giraffe patches with heat bond. The new baby has two big sisters.
Made baby a little onsie with giraffe patch.
Made some giraffe and elephant cookies too! Wrapped it up and placed it in a basket.
How exciting! Right now as I prepare this baby gift my neighbor is giving birth to their son. I was tickled to find out that they are having a home birth. I have been watching as the weeks go by and seeing the family preparing for this miracle. Last night I yelled to mom to be "no baby yet!" She smiled back and said, "I am having contractions!" She was busy as a bee nesting. Early this am we saw the family arriving to witness this miracle.
We had the privilege to know Marge a wonderful neighbor and friend who lived in the home before this family. She was diagnosed with lung cancer and her family cared for her in the home and she died there with her family around her. I know that Marge would of been So pleased to know that a baby was born in her home. I can hear her now saying "I'll be sugared!" She was such a hoot. We really miss that special lady!
Praise God! We are fearfully and Wonderfully Made! Psalm 139:14

Friendship=Love
A Sad Day!
We have some very sad news Sprocket died. It has been a very hard couple of weeks. Hannah has been riding him for about 4 years. Miss Tracy her leader and friend told us he had a stroke. It breaks our heart. This year Hannah has had to deal with some life changing experiences with losing some cherished animal friends. We will miss Sprocket. He was special!
Happy 4th of July!
